About One Life Mind and Body
TM
One Life Mind & Body was created from a simple belief: life rarely unfolds exactly as planned, but we always have the opportunity to pause, reconnect, and choose how we move forward.
Founder Kristin Grammer has spent her career working with people navigating transition, growth, and change. With a Master’s degree in Education and years of experience in advising and global education, she has supported students and communities from around the world as they chart their own paths forward. Her professional journey has been complemented by training in trauma awareness and spiritual care through the San Francisco Theological Seminary, which deepened her understanding of how life experiences shape the way we show up in the world.
Kristin’s perspective is also shaped by her own life experiences. As a military brat, she grew up moving every few years, learning early how to adapt, build community quickly, and navigate change. Over time, life continued to bring transitions — the loss of parents, raising two kids, and now entering a new chapter as an empty nester alongside her husband of 29 years.
Like many people, these moments led her to explore practices that reconnect the mind and body. What began as a personal yoga practice eventually led her to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher training through My Vinyasa Practice. A lifelong learner, Kristin continues to explore how movement, reflection, and meaningful conversation can help people live more intentionally.
Today, through One Life Mind & Body, she brings people together in many different spaces — from community centers and libraries to retreats in nature and small gatherings in personal homes. Whether through workshops, facilitated conversations, or gentle movement practices, her work invites people to pause and check in through the ARE Framework — Awaken, Release, Explore.
The invitation is simple:
Come as you are.
Pause.
Awaken. Release. Explore.
